Health Information

Our Skin is the largest organ of our body. It provides protection and receives
sensory stimuli from the external environment.

The Skin's outermost layer, the epidermis, contains the primary protective
structure, and provides some degree of 'filtering' of 'chemicals', radiation,
and bacteria.

Our Skin is, however, somewhat like a sponge, absorbing many of the 'things'
it comes in contact with - including substances that may be harmful to our
Bodies/Health.

Both the Look and the Feel [the Health] of our Skin are affected by many
things, Age, Genetics, Skin Type, and Lifestyle [includes Diet and Exercise].

Since we can not control, or do anything about, our Age or Genetics, Good
Skin Care [Practices and Products] and a Healthy Lifestyle are Essential.

How we Care for yourself will affect how we Look and Feel - our Health!

Some Ideas you might want to consider when it comes to Caring for your
Skin ~

Determine your 'Skin Type'. The usual types are - Oily, Dry, Normal
and Combination [Oily and Dry]. And, Buy Skin Care Products
accordingly!

Please remember, however, that one's 'Skin Type' does not usually remain
the same throughout one's Life! And, in fact, is liable to be influenced/
affected by many things, other than Aging.

Only Buy Skin Care Products that show/list All Ingredients. And,
if you do not know what a particular Ingredient is, or what Purpose it
might serve, be sure to Ask!

If you still have unanswered Questions, then an Internet Search might
prove helpful!

Remember that much of what goes On our Skin, can go Into our Body!

Try-out Skin Care Products - Buy a 'small' size - before Buying a
larger amount.

Also, it is best to use Skin Care Products that offer a Product Exchange
or Money-Back Guarantee!

In most cases it is advisable to use Skin Care Products from one
'manufacturer' at a time!

Be sure you know how to Use the Skin Care Products you Buy. Do
not hesitate to Ask Questions.

Always Carefully Read [and Follow] Product Directions or Use
Instructions before using a new Skin Care Product.

Be Diligent in your Use of any new Skin Care Products. We advise
that you continue Regular Use of a new Skin Care Product for at least
1-3 weeks before you decide on whether the Product is Beneficial/
Satisfactory.

This is, of course, unless you have an ‘Adverse Reaction’ - in which case,
you should Discontinue Use Immediately!

Always Protect your Skin from the Sun. Wear Sun-Protective Clothing
Year-Round. It is advisable that you do NOT depend on so-called ‘Sun
Screens’ to provide Skin Protection. The Best Protection from the potentially
Harmful Effects of the Sun is Low to Non-Exposure.

And finally, remember that the Health of our Skin is ultimately only as
good as our Overall Health. Healthy Skin [as with a Healthy Body, in
general] requires a Good Diet, Regular Exercise and Regular Exposure to
'Fresh/Clean Air'!
